Currently I am teaching in a 1st grade classroom in the inner city of Chicago. I am the K-2 literacy facilitator at my school and I also support grades 3-5 teachers in various aspects of their literacy program. I have provided professional development in the area of literacy centers to my own school, other teachers in my district, at university campuses, and for private organizations. I also run a study group here in Chicago to help other teachers implement centers in their classroom.
